Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026. These terms apply to all bookings made with Clean Line Ski. Please read them carefully before submitting an enquiry or making a payment.
1. Overview
Clean Line Ski provides ski trip hosting and on-mountain companionship in European Alpine resorts. All trips are run personally — guests ski alongside the operator for the duration of the trip.
Clean Line Ski operates as a trip host. We are not a licensed travel agent, tour operator regulated under the Package Travel Regulations, or an ATOL-protected business. We do not sell flights. Our service is the provision of trip hosting, accommodation arrangements, and resort transfers (within standard arrival windows) as described on the trips page of our website.
By confirming a booking with Clean Line Ski you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Flights & Travel to Resort
Flights are not included in the trip price. Clean Line Ski does not arrange, book, recommend, or take any responsibility for flights or rail travel to and from the resort.
Resort transfers are included for arrivals and departures within agreed standard windows. Guests who arrive at significantly different times, on different days, or from alternate airports outside the agreed window will need to arrange their own transfer to resort. Clean Line Ski accepts no liability for additional transfer costs arising from non-standard arrival arrangements.
Each guest is responsible for:
- Booking and paying for their own flights or other transport to the departure airport
- Ensuring flight times are compatible with the agreed transfer windows
- Any costs arising from missed, delayed, or cancelled flights
- Arranging and paying for any transfers required outside standard windows
Clean Line Ski accepts no liability for any travel disruption, delay, or additional cost arising from a guest's independent travel arrangements.
3. Booking & Payment
Submitting an enquiry via our contact form does not constitute a booking. No payment is taken and no commitment is entered into at the enquiry stage.
A booking is confirmed only when:
- Clean Line Ski has confirmed your place in writing; and
- A non-refundable deposit of £400 per person has been received in cleared funds.
The balance of the trip price is due no later than 8 weeks before the trip departure date. If the balance is not received by this date, Clean Line Ski reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation by the guest:
- More than 8 weeks before departure: deposit is forfeited; no further charge.
- 4–8 weeks before departure: 50% of the total trip price is retained.
- Less than 4 weeks before departure: 100% of the total trip price is retained.
All cancellations must be made in writing to info@cleanlineski.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect from the date the written notification is received.
Cancellation by Clean Line Ski: In the event that Clean Line Ski is required to cancel a trip (for reasons including but not limited to insufficient numbers, serious injury, or force majeure), all monies paid to Clean Line Ski will be refunded in full. Clean Line Ski accepts no liability for any consequential costs including flights, accommodation, or other travel arrangements booked independently by guests.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. You must hold a policy that covers:
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Skiing and, where the itinerary includes off-piste skiing, off-piste ski cover
- Trip cancellation or curtailment
- Personal liability
Proof of adequate insurance cover must be provided to Clean Line Ski before the trip departure date. Clean Line Ski reserves the right to exclude a guest from the trip if appropriate insurance is not in place.
The choice of insurance provider and policy is the guest's sole responsibility. Clean Line Ski does not endorse or recommend any specific insurance product.
6. Liability
Skiing — including on-piste and off-piste skiing — is an activity that carries inherent risk of injury, including serious injury or death. Guests participate entirely at their own risk.
Clean Line Ski takes all reasonable precautions to operate trips safely, including appropriate assessment of terrain, snow conditions, and guest ability. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that skiing activities are free from risk.
Clean Line Ski's liability to guests is limited to the cost of the services contracted (i.e. the trip price paid). We accept no liability for:
- Personal injury arising from skiing activities, except where caused by our proven negligence
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Costs arising from independent travel arrangements (flights, transfers, etc.)
- Disruption caused by weather, snow conditions, or resort operations outside our control
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
